Never mind shadow, there is a sharpen problem. And yes, you have a real problem about shadows because of your screen. Stroke is gray (I hope it's not because of screen again ) Light is gettin cut suddenly when you come on to shadows. I guess it's what you mean by shadows. Because there is some kinds of shadow, as you know.
By the way, your works getting gray like low opacity Difference option.

Hmm , maybe if i made it dark it will fit good on your screen .. because when i make it good on my screen it become gray on everyone's else screens lol
